3rd Place at District Competition

Drew competed in the District Hoop Shoot Competition, in Austin, MN on January 17th. He got off to a rocky start making 5 of his first 10 shots.  He regrouped in the second round canning 12 of 15 free throws.  After 25 free throw attempts, there was a 3 way tie for 2nd place with each shooter making 17 free throws.  Drew was now in a free throw shoot off with two other boys to determine 2nd place.  Drew shot 4/5 but the winner made all 5 free throws. The overall winner in the 8/9 boys division made 23/25 free throws.  The video clip is Drew shooting in the shoot off.
